Austin Jazz Band, a Texas nonprofit corporation ("AJB"), is delighted to perform at the Red Poppy Festival in Georgetown, Texas, a production of the Georgetown Convention and Visitors' Bureau (“Host”). The engagement will be performed on Sunday April 26, 2009 from 1:30 p.m. to 3:15 p.m., in two 45 minute sets (with a 15 minute break) on 8th Street between Main Street and Austin Avenue (the "Event"). The AJB performs contemporary and swing jazz big band arrangements with two brass sections, a sax section, and a rhythm section consisting of approximately 19 instrumentalists, a vocalist, and musical direction by Bobby Davis
